Thornham Walks for the beautiful scenery and walled garden, bird hides and den building areas to explore. You can purchase a map for £1, to engage the children to lead the way, all money goes to the walks.
The Forge Café is within 20 – 35 minutes walking distance and serves a great breakfast or a delightful menu throughout the day.
The Thornham Four Horse Shoes Pub – Which you can walk to in around 25-45 minutes dependant on the legs and enthusiasm 😊 They have a large Menu to eat indoors or in the front or back garden, and the Sunday Carvery is a favourite. Dogs welcome inside part of the pub and of course outside. We do recommend booking so not to be disappointed!
The Mellis Railway Tavern is a 3.5 mile walk or 4 mile cycle on the road – Often having music and beer festivals and themed food nights

Visit the East Anglian coast:
Southwold for its picturesque pier, beach huts and quant streets, pubs and restaurant’s, including crazy golf, boating lake, arcades, and sandy beaches, or get the little ferry boat across from the harbour to the village of Walberswick
Walberswick is a small village with a couple of lovely pubs that do great food. It is renowned for being the No.1 destination for Crabbing on the East Coast. Or if you want a long walk along the coast or amongst nature reserve to Dunwich. Another lovely small village known for the Bird reserve and the famous Fish and Chips.
Further down the coast you have Aldborough which is a little more for the more affluent or window shoppers, with designer shops, but also well-known fish and chips.
